About - ASVM 2022
We are happy to discuss our past successful conference -“2nd World Congress on Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine – ASVM 2022” held on December 09-10, 2022. The virtual conference runs with the Theme: Recent Advances in veterinary medicine, Livestock Production, and Animal Welfare.
We had Veterinarians, Veterinary scientists, Veterinary surgeons, Pharmacists, Physicians, Medical Practitioners, Animal Scientists, Poultry Hatchery Managers, Researchers in the area of Stud Farms/Livestock/Poultry Operations, Dairy, Meat, and Seafood Technical Professionals, Nutritionists, Geneticists, Biotechnologist, Housing, Environment professionals, Laboratory Animal Medicine persons, Directors, CEOs, and Professionals across the world for our ASVM 2022 who had witness and participated in our highly professional scientific discussions and sessions. Veterinary medicine is the branch of medicine that deals with the causes, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and injuries of animals, especially domestic animals. Along with this, it deals with animal rearing, husbandry, breeding, research on nutrition, and product development. The scope of veterinary medicine is wide, covering all animal species, both domesticated and wild, with a wide range of conditions that can affect different species.
ASVM 2022 will have Invited Talks/Keynote Talks, Scientific Sessions, Workshops, Poster Presentations, Exhibitions, B2B meetings, Networking Sessions, etc. As part of encouraging young researchers, we have a special session, the Young Scientist Session.

The Godfather of Cannabinoid Research
Prof. Raphael Mechoulam is with the Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Natural Products at the Faculty of Medicine. He is the former Rector of the University and is a member of the Israel Academy of Sciences. His research interests are in the field of chemistry and the biological activity of natural products and medicinal agents. His main contributions are in the field of the constituents of cannabis and the endogenous cannabinoids found in the brain and the periphery. He has published extensively on their pharmacological activities.

Ex-Emeritus Scientist & Visiting Scientist (2014-2018), Regional Centre for Biotechnology (UNESCO-DBT), Faridabad, Haryana & Emeritus Scientist-CSIR (2012-2015). Served as Emeritus Professor (Hony.) Have done post-doctoral research work in the Max-Planck Institute for Biochemistry, Munich, 1976-77 University of Heidelberg, 1984, University of Karlsruhe, 1984, University of Goettingen, 1997, Germany, Kluyver Lab. For Biotechnology, Technical University, Delft, Netherlands, 190-91; Ohio State University (OSU), Columbus, Ohio USA, 1997 and Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, USA. 2006. A former German Academic Exchange- University Grants Commission (DAAD-UGC) fellow, 1976-77, and recipient of the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) Post Graduate Scholarship. 1967-68. Listed in IBC Outstanding Scientists Worldwide 2007, Nominated as the International Scientist of the Year 2007, Included in the Marquis Who’s Who in the World 2010 Have been a Local Commissioner/ technical expert/ technical witness in several national/international patent cases.
Have published 75 research papers and have many patents to my credit. Have supervised/ co-supervised 10 Ph. D. & 25 M.Sc. / B. Tech./ M. Tech. Theses. “Grandpa’s Noble Tales”-tales and anecdotes of scientists 2017, written by me is available for sale on Amazon. In the book, “Essays on Chemistry”-A Central Science Playing God, 2018 is available on Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India website.
