Biography

Dr. Cassio Cassal Brauner is an Adjunct Professor in the Animal Science Department at the Eliseu Maciel School of Agronomy (FAEM) at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel). He is currently the Adjunct Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Animal Science-FAEM-UFPel. He holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine (2004), a Master’s (2007), and a Ph.D. (2011) in Animal Science from UFPel. Specialist in Beef Cattle by the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (2010). He did part of his Ph.D. through PDEE/CAPES at the University of Wyoming-USA (2009-2010). He works with the coordination of NUPEEC (Nucleus for Research, Education, and Extension in Livestock), whose activities are described on the website https://wp.ufpel.edu.br/nupeec. He is a member of the Departmental Council of the Faculty of Agronomy Eliseu Maciel-UFPel. He has experience in the field of animal production, with an emphasis on reproduction
