Biography

Dr. David Casper owns a ranch just outside of Freeport. He is the technical service manager for Grain States Soya/Soy Best. He is an adjunct professor at North Carolina A&T University and operates a contract research facility at Casper’s Calf Ranch. He has spent over 24 years in the industry.

Casper was raised on a livestock farm in Cuba City, Wisconsin, and obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a master’s degree and a doctorate from South Dakota State University.  Casper has received include the ADSA Richard M. Hoyt Award, 2012 Pioneer Hi-Bred Forage Award, and three founder’s awards from Agri-King Inc.
