Dr. Pramod Kumar Gautam is an Associate Professor, in the Department of Biochemistry, AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Gautam completed his Ph.D. in Immunology, from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.  Dr. Pramod Gautam is heading the Immunology Laboratory at the Department of Biochemistry, AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Gautam is an Immunologist by training. His team works in the area of immunology, drug designing, and cancer immunotherapy. The major focus is to understand the biology of immune cells and their interaction with tumor cells.  He is also trying to find out the way to early detection of cancer and targeted drug delivery system for cancer immunotherapy. He has received numerous awards and fellowships to name a DST Inspire faculty fellow in his early carrier. He has presented his research work at a number of national and international conferences. He is a life member of many societies such as the Indian Immuyn ology society, CIMT, and Germany.  During the COVID -19 pandemic works a Nodal officer for the Dept. of Biochemistry, AIIMS, New Delhi.
