Title: Observations and Discussion: Proposing That There is a Link Between Audio/Visual Sensory Overload and the Onset and Incubation of a Wide Variety of Complex Neurological and Perceptional Disorders

The purposeful refinement of observations made during consultations and during Neuro Physics Therapy(NPT) practice over the last decade, Involving a minimal of 30 patients, average age 26 who had presented with a wide variety of complex neurological and perceptual disorders was aimed at discovering behaviors that were consistent across all these patients. One such consistent behavior was the prolonged use of iPod ear/headphones, mobile phones, iPad from early pre-teen years to the date of their initial consultation. This presentation will focus on those patients who presented with complex neurological conditions relating to the cerebellum, such as ataxia, dyssynergia, dysdiadochokinesia and dysmetria. These patients were born perfectly healthy, epigenetically manifesting their particular pathology progressively from their early teens to the date of presentation. Based upon experiments that will be discussed, it is apparent that even short bursts of audio sensory stimulation overload temporarily compromise proprioception, discriminative touch and induces rapid eye movement upon the closing of the eyes during attempts to perform slow mild resistance movements along fixed plane trajectories.

Founder of Neurotricional Sciences Pty Ltd and NeuroPhysics Therapy and Research. Ken Ware has been in private practice since 1988, while doing independent and collaborative research. He has presented his unique research and findings at 18 International Science Conference, including Neuroscience, Physics, Psychology and Life Sciences, covering a very broad scientific audience. Relative publications in ‘Frontiers in Clinical Physiology’ – ‘World Journal of Neuroscience’ – ‘World Journal of Cardiovascular diseases. Ken Ware’s NeuroPhysics Therapy has received a large degree of high profile international and national media attention over the last decade, primarily for its unprecedented outcomes for patients with complete and incomplete spinal cord lesions. The multi-international film festival award winning documentary titled ‘CALIBRATE’ is based upon NeuroPhysics Therapy patient’s stories from around the world. He is a former Mr. Universe 1994, and a national powerlifting and Bodybuilding champion, record holder and recipient of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth’s’ ‘Australian Sports Medal’ – in 2000, in recognition for his personal contributions to the development of the Australian Sporting Culture.
