Mrs. Shashya Diyapaththugama is working as a lecturer at the Department of Applied Nutrition, Faculty of Livestock, Fisheries and Nutrition, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka. She completed her Bachelor degree B.Sc. Hons in Food Science and Nutrition, with a First Class in 2021. She has then completed her one-year internship as a clinical dietitian/nutritionist. In 2022, she was then recruited as a lecturer at the same department where she studied. Her research interests are towards nutrition and dietetics. The young lecturer has published abstracts in international and local conferences and is currently involved in research projects within her department.
