Dr. Tahseen Fatima was born in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. Tahseen Fatima was awarded gold medal for securing first position in graduation, she was also selected for Excellence XV th stars award in the field of women’s in agriculture. She was selected as Assistant food technologists (BPS-17) on 05-05-2005, under the project Food poverty alleviation, worked as teaching and research till 30-06-2008. On 01-07-2008 she was selected as Lecturer (BPS-18) at Institute of Food Sciences and Technology, Sindh Agriculture University, Tando jam. She was promoted as assistant Professor (BPS-19) on 27-03-2014 and serving at Sindh Agriculture University Tando jam, till to date.
She has teaching and research experience of 16 years, she is a recognized supervisor of PhD and master’s students. Her expertise in the field of food sciences and technology are more helpful as senior teacher. Bringing new ideas of research and innovation implementation of new alternative techniques to help the food and agriculture, to save the food for food insecurity challenges. New innovative research is going on with postgraduate student’s projects to introduce new fortified bakery products rich in nutrition and economic to the consumer as healthy balance food products to take as daily diet products. She is working with the idea to educate the students to become a good educator or entrepreneurship, who can minimize the nutritional loss during food processing, develop new nutritious fortified organic food products in terms of food security and food safety. Her guidelines and ideas are creative more focused with novelty of food products.
